A death in the family can bring immense financial strain. The Pulamed funeral benefit offers a financial payout upon the death of a member providing you much needed financial relief during this difficult time. The funeral benefit payout will be made to the nominated beneficiary within 48 hours of receipt of claim.

Members should visit any Botswana Life office to complete their form and make their funeral benefit claim submissions.
How To Claim
Dependants are required to submit the funeral benefit claim within 6 months of the occurrence of death and provide the following documents:
- Certified copy of the death certificate or original death certificate.
- Certified Copy of ID (Omang) for the nominated dependant and if they are the surviving spouse, a certified copy of the marriage certificate should also be attached.
- Pulamed membership card.
